Latest development in this type of product is SOCOPAC 65H from Socomore, incorporating water displacing highly penetrating and long-term corrosion protection in one product. One of the key characteristic of this product is a reduced drying time resulting in shorter turnovers for the manufacturer of maintenance operations. CIC* are designed to protect interior panels from corrosion, especially important in cargo hall, under toilets and galleys. Only OEM* approved products can be applied. OEM apply it on bare metal on new aircraft. Airlines MRO* first use CIC remover in order to safely remove old CIC, during C and/or D check. They reapply fresh CIC according to OEM specifications.
